About us

Ron Herman purchased Wooster Hollow on Christmas Eve in 2014. It was Ron's first business purchase after retiring from 30 years at General Electric.  While the early years were dificult, the business has grown and has become a favorite Ridgefield, CT breakfast, brunch and lunch spot. We have 13 wonderful employees who work together as a team and a family.  We are extremely grateful to our customers who have supported us over the years. We would not be here without you. Please know that we always strive to serve delicious, fresh & affordable food in a fast & friendly way.

2014

Ron Herman purchased Wooster Hollow Diner, Deli and Pizza on Christmas Eve 12-24-14

2015

Formed a partnership with Ability Beyond. We since then have continually employed young adults with "Special Abilities"

2016

Changed our name to Wooster Hollow Cafe when we decided to focus on breakfast & lunch

2017

Chef Tony & Chef Wilson made business partners.

2018-2019

Completed significant interior renovations

2020

Added outdoor dining, delivery services & formed the Sunrise Meals charity to provide food to those impacted by the COVID Pandemic

2022

We survived the COVID Pandemic and only closed our doors for 1 day! Wooster Hollow has now been in business for 25 years!
